EquiConsulting’s first client, Shearwater Insurance provides insurance products to the equestrian industry and beyond, offering everything from horse insurance to home insurance.
Sarah takes on a head of marketing and business development role for the company, leading both strategic marketing and business growth campaigns.
Focusing on digital marketing, SEO, social media and sponsorship activation.
Originally introduced to Equine Construction owners by Shearwater MD, Jeremy Lawton, EquiConsulting was taken on to look at the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and Google AdWord marketing.
The relationship and role has quickly expanded to Sarah taking a key role in business development, marketing, sponsorship and social media.
Sister company to Equine Construction, the launch of Equine Planning in early 2017 saw EquiConsulting take up the planning challenge as well.
As the growth of both companies has accelerated the marketing strategies have started to combine. This includes the launch of a new, inter-linked, website in early 2019.
Equine Register is the leading provider of national identification, registration and traceability services to the equine industry and governments. Defra’s partner in delivering and managing the Central Equine Database (CED) and National ChipChecker on behalf of the UK Government and Devolved Administrations.
Sarah was seconded as a Marketing Consultant for the Equine Register in the early stages of the development of their Digital Stable offering. Sarah provided expertise on gamification and user experience.
EquiConsulting manages the social media channels for luxury French sellier, Childeric Saddles UK. Working with the core team of saddle specialists and the PR experts at MirrorMe PR to offer an engaging social platform.
As the relationship has developed, Sarah works more closely with the brand to support their rider sponsorship activation. Working with brand champions to enable them to promote the brand more effectively.
A non-equestrian brand for EquiConsulting, Little Bear’s offers a high end group of daycare options for children from 3 months to 11 years across London.
EquiConsulting offer the group website management, SEO, marketing, copy writing and social media services.
EquiConsulting was introduced and recommended to Classic Showjumps by sponsored rider Caroline Powell. A brand that had been struggling with the content direction for it’s social media channels.
Sarah was brought in for her industry expertise and social creative skills to create a more engaging social platform that targets B2C end users whilst promoting their B2B sales channel.
EquiConsulting was recommended to Equine Products by Caroline Powell to support the brand with mainstream equestrian social media support and content marketing support, during the 2018 season.
EquiConsulting ran a series of Social Media and Customer Experience work shops for the British Eventing Organisers Association at the start of the 2017 season and continues to provide support and consultancy for a number of different British Eventing venues around the country.
2019 saw Sarah lead a Sponsorship & Commercial workshop and networking event for the BEOA, with attendees from within the association, EHOA, ERA and other disciplines.
Sarah first started working with Little Downham Horse Trials in 2012 when the event was awarded it’s first CIC** and International status. At this point Sarah was tasked with building a new website, running the social media channels and recruiting sponsors.
EquiConsulting/Sarah now works with the horse trials, Ely Eventing Centre and Tina Ure on a much bigger scale, including volunteer management, sponsorship management, full PR, marketing and social media support, as well as building and managing an online booking system in partnership with Delabond Technology.
Sarah was part of the team delivering the social media coverage for the 2016 and 2017 ERM series.
Working both on-site at British events and remotely for the European legs providing Twitter commentary and engagement, Facebook content and Instagram support.
Sarah was approached by the Blair team as the recommended partner to deliver an engaging social media strategy for during the event. EquiConsulting produced and managed a team of onsite and remote content creators and social media managers to deliver multi-channel engagement.
EquiConsulting took on the sponsorship management and PR/Marketing of Keysoe’s British Eventing and International Dressage and Show Jumping fixtures in late 2017. We are pleased to have brought on-board a number of new and high profile equestrian sponsors to the venue.
EquiConsulting initially built Stratford Hill’s new website in 2015 and supported the local event with social media services. This is now extended to full website, social media and PR support for the event from 2018 onwards.
Organised by members of the Stratford Hills Horse Trials committee, Sarah was asked to launch and run an Essex & Suffolk Team Chase Facebook page with the aim of boosting entries and spectators.
2019 saw record spectator numbers for the event.
A first foray into the racing world, EquiConsulting has designed and built a new website for Higham Races, to host a new online ticketing system.
By taking over the PR and Social Media for the three Point-to-Point meets we have managed to increase advance ticket sales and bring the venue further into the 21st Century.
EquiConsulting manages all PR, Media and Sponsorship activities for Imogen Murray/M.S.Team Eventing.
This service extends to website development and management, content creation and social media management. We travel to a number of the larger events to support the team both on site as well as remotely.
EquiConsulting was engaged by Attington Sport Horses and, Irish Olympian, Austin O’Connor to promote their new all-weather cross country arena, produce an online booking system, manage their existing website and develop their social media presence.
Sarah was introduced to Alex by Lucy Hall Photography to take on raising the profile of this exciting up and coming rider.
Sarah now supports Alex’s social media and manages his media engagements and sponsorship arrangements.
Essex based Dressage yard and home of Anand Patel, EquiConsulting was engaged to build a new website and social media channels for Tower Hill and Anand.
Significant media coverage has also been secured for Anand, including a feature interview with Horse & Hound and on-event interviews with Horse & Country TV whilst in Holland.
